Exploring Cherokee, North Carolina
Updated: Apr 28, 2022
Ace and I don't usually have a lot of time to explore the area, when we're working. Our work schedules can be pretty crazy during an event and we usually have a 10-12 hour days. That doesn't leave us with a lot of time to do anything other eat, sleep, and repeat. This time around, Ace and I were able to enjoy some time in Cherokee, NC after the circuit even had ended. We wanted to explore a little bit of the town we had only seen as we drove into work.
Cherokee, NC is on the Cherokee Reservation (despite what I say in the video) and is open to tourists. There are several arts & crafts shopping areas as well as the Museum of the Cherokee Indians, Oconaluftee Indian Village, Hiking trails and even and live performance area. During our stay, Ace and I weren't able to see any performances but to on the next visit.
