NY or Bust!

Traveling to our next poker dealing gig.

Ace and I enjoyed our time in Massanutten, but it was time to hit the road again. The day before we were leaving, the area was hit with a snow storm that dropped about 6 inches of snow. We actually debated on weather or not to leave, but we didn't want to drive for an extended period of time. We were headed for New York! Turning Stone Resort and Casino was having its very first WSOP event and we were going to be dealing the event.

Our overnight stop.

The more we travel, the more we appreciate the comforts of home. Ace found this charming place called the Red Umbrella Bed and Breakfast . Anna, the owner, is an excellent hostess. She cooked us wonderful breakfast the morning we left that included coffee, fruit and yogurt, and a breakfast casserole. Having the place to ourselves made it feel like a little slice of home.

The food.

If you've watched any of our videos, you know Ace and love to eat. We love finding interesting restaurants and little local dives and breweries. We found one of the best Thai-Loas restaurants on this road trip. Siang Khene is small, locally owned place that is run by a husband and wife team. The food is very fresh, authentic, and even made us forget about the snow for little bit. It actually made Ace and I little sad because we realized how much we've been missing our time in South East Asia.
